Founded in January 2003 by Linette Kinchen. Recognized as a 501(C)(3) Not for Profit Organization in June 2004 Currently working with over 150 families Linette Kinchen is the founder and executive director of grandfamilies as well as a grandmother raising two grandchildren. Linette saw a need to provide information services and support to grandparents and their grandchildren and knows first hand the challenges that face these “silent saviors.”
